Wellness, as defined by The Alliance for Integrative Medicine, is more than just a state of physical health; wellness also encompasses emotional stability, clear thinking, the ability to love, create, embrace change, exercise intuition and experience a continuing sense of spirituality.
For as long as I can remember, wellness has been my priority and my passion. Even during times of physical or even emotional trauma, I have closed my eyes and meditated on the old spiritual hymn, "It is Well with my Soul".
My goal in creating this new blog is to highlight some of the articles I've written on other blogs, as well as some newer articles based on the four important parts of WELLNESS: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.
Any input from readers is greatly appreciated. I am not an authority on wellness. I am a writer who enjoys swimming, running, hiking in the mountains, and anything that gets me outdoors. I raise lots of money for cancer research and I have a strong passion for helping people of every ability and background find their way to fitness.
Thank you for stopping by!
"I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." ~ 3 John 1:2
