Suffering
Last night I had a long chat with my daughter about suffering. My daughter, Morgan, is a strong, beautiful, smart young woman majoring in education in college. She is one of the people I admire most in this world.
She has had to endure some pretty tough stuff in her 19 years on Earth. When we were talking, we agreed that sometimes God lets us go through some difficult times so that we can be helpful to people who suffer. Does suffering have a purpose? Yes.
This is my "spiritual" way of viewing things on this gray day.
